Tabferry — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 June 2026 · Controller: CHPX · Contact: support@chpx.com.br

Tabferry is a Chrome extension that saves and restores your browser tab sessions, with optional paid cross-device sync. This policy explains exactly what we handle.

1. Data stored on your device (Free)

When you save a session, Tabferry stores the URLs, titles, pinned state, and tab-group metadata (name, color, collapsed state) of the tabs you choose to save. This data is kept locally in your browser via chrome.storage and never leaves your device unless you enable Pro sync or export a backup yourself. We do not run content scripts, read page contents, or track your browsing.

2. Data we process for Pro sync & billing

3. What we do NOT do

We do not sell or rent your data, show ads, use third-party analytics/trackers, or read the content of the pages you visit. Tabferry requests no broad host permissions.

4. Retention

Local data stays until you delete it (deleted sessions sit in a 30-day Trash). Synced data is retained while your account exists; you can delete it anytime (see below). Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.

5. Your rights (GDPR / LGPD)

You can export your data anytime from the extension’s Settings. To access, correct, or permanently delete your synced data and account, email support@chpx.com.br and we will action it within 30 days.

6. Subprocessors

Stripe (payments), Upstash (synced session storage), Resend (sign-in emails), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only to provide their service.

7. Changes

We’ll update this page and the “last updated” date when this policy changes.
